Design of pattern for ski suit

GOAL

I would like to make a ski suit for a person who is based in Singapore.

DELIVERABLES

A pattern should be produced according to a general design I have drawn out. The pattern should be able to be followed by a person with no experience in clothes-making (i.e. myself).

The pattern may be complex, but I am in no rush. So I will follow instructions to the letter, and the pattern-maker will need to ensure the instructions are sufficiently detailed.

Note: the budget is negotiable. I simply had to set one in order to be able to specify the project.

DETAILS

The pattern will need to take into account the use of:

- thermal lining;

- insulation

- waterproof outer

- other necessary layers.

The pattern will need to provide for flexibility (e.g. elasticized materials may be necessary) since skiing requires a lot of movement.

I would like a pattern produced for me to follow and make the ski suit. The ski suit includes some fur, and various other materials required to properly insulate and protect the wearer.

I am based in Singapore. If you need to be present to take measurements etc (rather than telling me which measurements to take and me then sending them over to you), then of course this will be difficult unless you're in Singapore, Malaysia or Indonesia.

Please let me know:

- whether you have experience in producing patterns for ski suits;

- what the estimated cost would be for your services;

- whether you can recommend types of materials to use (or if such would affect the dimensions of the patterns);

- what you would require from me to be happy to work with me; and

- what the stages of the process would be according to your normal work process (including time-frames).

Note: I have no experience (literally none) with clothes-making. I have seen my mother make some clothes about 30 years ago, and that is about it. So I will need some heavy guidance.
