Part B: Two-Dimensional Representation Draw your selected object in plan view, elevation view, and in several sections (minimum of four, both longitudinal and transverse). Begin by sketching out ideas on how to best represent your object and then proceed by using Illustrator to realize those ideas. A minimum of three different line weights should be employed, and dashed lines are also acceptable. Do not use shaded elements, only edges. Depth should be implied through the use of line weights Light, dashed lines can be used to represent ‘hidden’ lines, at your discretion. Part C: Representation of Depth Using Line Weights Trace the outline of the three 10" x 10" images in Illustrator. Be sure to use a variety of line weights—the boldest and thickest line should represent those edges and planes that are closest to you, while thinner and lighter lines should represent edges and planes that are farthest from you.
