Painterly image!

I'd like to create 1-2 t-shirt designs using original 'characters'. I have plenty of reference images for the character creation but I do not own them. These will be eventually put on t-shirts after some testing to see which works best. Please see the 'Painterly' Images attached. I'd like to fuse that style with the water color style from the other images. Specifically, the watercolor look, mono color, with a color splash background and the distinct lack of clarity in the face from the 'water color sample pics should be fused with the classical look of the painterly images. on a level of face detail, the painterly images are around a 6-7, while the water colors are closer to a 4. Most of all, these have to be original images, we cannot trace the images I have included.
