My project is about designing privacy settings preferences so that the user can set his permissions preferences and link all devices. In this design, the user will have the ability to specify which permissions can access a specific resource and data. Also, the user can set the permissions for an application or social media account etc.
For example, the user can allow an app to use a location while using the app or reject using the camera for Twitter. Therefore, the user can allow/deny/while using the online service ( mobile apps, websites, social media etc). In this privacy setting I need to present the user with a statix=stic analysis about how frequently his data is used and from which device. Also how to communicate it with the user in a usable way. The aim is to improve the usability and accessibility of user-facing permissions.
The user can set his preferences for permissions, specify which service or app also applies this setting on all his devices or connect devices to the same privacy setting. I do not need now to work on the technical part till I finish designing the framework. This is the idea and of course, I need to improve it from an expert in this field.
My idea could be applied to mobile privacy settings, web browsing, social media and IoT devices. So it is a broad idea I can apply in one of these contexts.
