Hi there!
I am seeking a talented and highly skilled Children's Book Illustrator to bring my story to life. I attached a picture as reference regarding skillset and character of my book.
The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for illustration and an exceptional portfolio showcasing their skills in creating illustrations for children's books. You will work closely with me to bring the story to life with visually stunning illustrations that capture the imagination of young readers.
Responsibilities:
~Collaborate with the author to understand the story and conceptualize illustrations that align with the author's vision
~Create high-quality, detailed illustrations that bring the story to life and captivate young readers
Ensure illustrations are visually appealing, age-appropriate, and consistent with the story's tone and style
~Provide input and suggestions to the author to enhance the story and illustrations
Requirements:
-Highly skilled in Illustration or a related field
-Proven experience as a Children's Book Illustrator with an exceptional portfolio
-Strong understanding of color, composition, and design
-Excellent drawing and illustration skills
-Ability to work within tight deadlines and handle multiple projects at once
-Proficiency in digital illustration software, such as —-~Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
-Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the author and publisher.
