Card Game Design - Capital of Alinea

Hi, By way of introduction, my name is Max. I have designed a card game that I think has huge potential - ‘Capital of Alinea’. I’m now looking for the right design partner to work with on the illustrations and design of the game. So what is Alinea? Alinea is a fictional land set in imperial times. Players adopt characters (either a Shepherd, Prophet, Engineer, Merchant, Warrior or Alchemist) who have travelled from distant lands to set up settlements in Alinea with the ultimate aim of establishing themselves as the Capital by bettering their competition at gathering resources and growing their settlements. How is it played? There are 6 sectors (Community, Trade, Architecture, Military, Research and Wealth) that players can develop in that help them to obtain more of the 6 resources (Wheat, Wood, Rock, Iron, Water, Gold) in the game, and in turn, grow faster and win by obtaining 15 Victory Points. Players need to strategically shape their settlements to lead in sectors that will help them obtain the right resources to win the game. They need to play to their character strengths and unique skill sets and take into consideration whether they want to obtain wonders from the central pool to help them achieve their 15 victory points. As well as apapting and using event cards in their favor to give them the upper hand in the race and inhibit their closest rivals. Game format It is a card stack game. You build your city in front of your eyes placing your built capital cards in front of you bringing it to life. Resource tokens will have the look and feel of poker chips giving the players the satisfactory feeling of building up physical assets. Design concept The card design with be central to portraying the Alinea people and landscape. The aim for the designs to truly capture the imagination of the players so they get lost in the land of Alinea.
