***You must have a Facebook account, and you must be located in the United Stated (otherwise you will get localized Facebook handles)***** I need you to: 1) Create a spreadsheet that captures the information in the table on this site: [login to view URL] Specifically, have one row per company, and a column for company rank, score, name, country, and GICS sector. 2) Add a column called "Facebook". Search for the company's official Facebook fan page and enter the screenname in this column. For example, if the company is General Electric, this would be their fan page: [login to view URL] and you would enter "GE". If there are multiple versions, select the US version. Also note, a large company should have a lot of followers -- if not, it may not be the right account. Make sure that the company really matches (check that the sectors match). Add another column called "FB_FLAG" and put a 1 in the column if you are unsure about an account. If there is no facebook fan page, leave the row blank. Note you must be physically located in the US, as otherwise your searches will lead you to different Facebook accounts. 3) Do the same step two, but for twitter instead of Facebook. For example, General Electric's twitter page is [login to view URL] and you would enter "generalelectric" 4) Add a "TICKER" column. Look up the company on [login to view URL] or another site, and enter the ticker symbol for the company in this column. For example, if the company is Microsoft, you would enter "MSFT".
