I have a radon detector device which came with an Android application. I can use this Android app to query current radon readings from the device. I have decompiled the Android app but don't understand enough about Java BLE routines to replicate the procedure in Python. I need a python script that does a query to the device the same way as the Java android app. I will be running it on a Linux PC instead of an Android phone so the programmer needs to tell me how to open BLE adapter via this script. BLE adapter is installed in my PC and I successfully tested connecting to Radon detector using this BLE dongle.

Hi, to be honest, never worked with a radon detector device, but when you say, "query current radon readings from the device"; I believe this device it's connected to a serial/usb port right?
