Im using the following command to stream portion of my desktop so other people can view it through their browser: "C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\[login to view URL]" -I dummy -vvv --no-audio screen:// --screen-fps 5 :screen-left=1 :screen-top=35 :screen-height=400 :screen-width=400 --sout "#transcode{vcodec=MJPG,vb=1500}:standard{access=http,mux=mpjpeg,dst=:8080/}" --sout-http-mime="multipart/x-mixed-replace;boundary=--7b3cc56e5f51db803f790dad720ed50a" The command works, You can simply view the stream by going to [login to view URL] However, after some time it will start producing an error and stream will crash. [mjpeg @ 0000000002909a00] Error evaluating rc_eq "(null)" I have attached the full log. Anyone who can solve this issue will be awarded $50. Thanks

I would not be able to help you out with the VLC problem, it's most likely a bug in the source code of that tool that causes it. My proposal is basically an offer: if you wish, I can show you how to stream more efficiently using OBS Studio (open source tool) using an MistServer (open source streaming server) installed on the same computer, to replace the streaming server built inside VLC. OBS Studio allows you to capture the display or portions of the display and also has several compression options, most commonly used being h264, which would make it possible to retain more quality in your stream while using less bitrate. Showing you how to use these two programs would take less than 10-20 minutes and I can basically connect to your computer using TeamViewer and install them and do basic configuration on them to get a working solution running.
