The project is a 3D workbench where the user assembles 3D models and parts to create mechanisms. The models are connected by javascript joints and constraints which define theiir range of movement.
the idea is to create a 3d environment where the user loads his own models and those from a library to forn moving assemblies of 3D MODELS connected by joints defined by javascript

I want to drag and drop glb / json files onto the scene where we will locate the current model onto an existing feature and apply constraints. The scene is initially empty, and the first model to be loaded would become the chassis onto which the other models are mounted.
The current code spawns a voxel positioned relative to another using a preset ´snap´ function. We want to use a square plane instead of voxels
