I’d like a patient, upbeat native-Arabic tutor to work online with my two children (both 10–12 years old). They currently don’t know Arabic at all, so we’ll be starting from scratch. To make the lessons effective, the priority is on: • Speaking and listening • Grammar and vocabulary We can leave reading and writing for a later stage. I’m looking for interactive sessions that keep pre-teens engaged—think stories, role-play, songs, short videos, or simple games—while steadily building core grammar and everyday vocabulary. Please outline: • How you would structure a beginner curriculum around oral skills and grammar • The digital tools or resources you prefer (Zoom, Google Classroom, worksheets, etc.) • A way to track and report progress every few weeks Ideally we’ll begin with two one-hour lessons per week, but I’m flexible if you suggest a different cadence. Let me know your approach and experience teaching children this age, and we can set up a trial lesson soon.

I’d be glad to help with this. For your children, I’d structure a beginner oral‑focused curriculum that starts with sounds, greetings, and everyday vocabulary, then gradually introduces simple grammar (pronouns, present tense, sentence building). Each lesson would mix stories, songs, role‑play, short videos, and games to keep them engaged while reinforcing grammar and vocabulary in a natural way. I prefer using Zoom for live sessions, Google Classroom for worksheets and homework, and tools like Canva or Genially to create colorful flashcards and interactive activities. To track progress, I’d provide bi‑weekly reports highlighting new vocabulary, grammar points mastered, and oral confidence, plus short recordings of the children practicing dialogues so you can hear their improvement. Two one‑hour lessons per week is a solid rhythm, though we can adjust if shorter, more frequent sessions suit their attention span better. My experience teaching children in this age group has taught me that patience, energy, and creativity are key—so I focus on making each session feel like play while steadily building their foundation in Arabic.

Hi there, > I would love to be the Arabic tutor for your kids! Teaching pre-teens (10-12) is my favorite because they learn fast through active, high-energy conversation. > Since we are starting from scratch and focusing strictly on Speaking, Listening, and Grammar, here is my structured approach: > 1. Interactive Curriculum: > *Month 1:Focus on "Survival Arabic" (Greetings, introducing themselves, hobbies, and family) through real-life Role-Play scenarios (like ordering food or shopping). > Functional Grammar:** I embed core grammar (pronouns, simple verbs) naturally into speaking games, so they learn rules without boring memorization. > * **Engaging Content:** We will use short animated videos, stories, and songs to train their listening skills. > **2. Digital Tools:** > * **Zoom/Google Meet** for live interactive sessions. > *Kahoot! & Quizlet for fun, gamified vocabulary competitions between them. Google Classroom to share visual worksheets and short audio recaps. 3. Progress Tracking: Bi-weekly Reports:** A quick update for you showing the words and grammar rules they mastered. > Monthly Video Showcase: A short video of the kids speaking Arabic about a fun topic so you can hear their progress yourself. >Schedule: 2 lessons/week (1 hour each) is great, but three 45-minute sessions can keep pre-teens even more focused. I'm flexible with both! Let's set up a free trial lesson this week to break the ice and show them how fun Arabic can be! Best regards, [Ahmed El Deeb]

Thank you for the opportunity. I would be glad to support your two children in starting their Arabic learning journey from zero in a structured, engaging, and enjoyable way. As a student myself, I understand the importance of clear guidance, patience, and making learning feel interactive rather than overwhelming. My approach is designed specifically for young beginners to help them build confidence in speaking and listening first, before gradually introducing reading and writing. Inshallah

Brother or Sister, Thank you for sharing what you hope to achieve. I am happy to teach your children Arabic from the beginning and help them step by step until they can understand and communicate confidently. My way of teaching children aged 10 to 12 is to make Arabic fun, interactive and easy. I do this by focusing on speaking, listening, repeating and practical use. Here are some of the things I cover: * Arabic letters and how to pronounce them correctly * Speaking and listening skills * vocabulary * Basic sentences and simple grammar In my lessons we have conversations, read stories do role-plays, use flashcards, practice pronunciation take quizzes and do interactive activities. Students learn: * The Arabic alphabet and correct pronunciation * How to have conversations in Arabic * Basic grammar and communication skills Each class includes reviewing what we learned before practicing pronunciation, building vocabulary, reading, speaking and listening exercises. I adjust how fast or slow we go based on the childs comfort level and learning speed. We can have classes via Zoom or Google Meet. I use slides, worksheets and revision materials to help students learn. I also give feedback and update parents to make sure children are making steady progress. Having two one-hour lessons, per week is a start. I can also arrange a trial lesson if you would like. Warm regards, Ali Mahdi Vakaliya

I can structure a beginner curriculum for your children that not only emphasizes spoken Arabic but also incorporates grammar teaching in a fun and interactive way. Drawing on my strengths in imaginative writing, story-telling, role-playing, and organizing creative games, your children will find our lessons enjoyable which will subsequently expedite their language learning. As for the digital tools or resources that I prefer, I'm well-versed with platforms like Zoom and Google Classroom and can utilize worksheets or videos to supplement our sessions effectively. Moreover, considering the importance of tracking progress, I'll share regular reports showcasing your children's linguistic growth every few weeks. Given my background in both creative and analytical writing coupled with an adaptability to suit diverse needs, you won't regret choosing me as the tutor for your children. Hello, I would be happy to guide your two kids to learn Arabic properly. I can during a first session see how they interact with me and adjust the teaching accordingly so that they learn best. I am myself a mother and living in Norway so a google or zoom video works best after we schedule it together in advance. We can always try a first session and see how it goes. Best regards, Lea
