I have a Lyx file that contains a work-in-progress. I copied some of the text from other kinds of editors, and it won't compile or export to Latex. The problem seems to be with the quotation marks and related punctuation. I have tried everything I can think of -- manually deleting and re-entering the punctuation, copying and pasting from a text file -- nothing seems to work. I want to preserve the Lyx features (all my citations and references) but need to be able to get this to compile to a PDF and export to pdflatex without any errors and with the punctuation coming out right. And I need to be able to enter new punctuation into the lyx file and have it come out right as well.
The file has 8528 words, and a lot of Lyx notes and general messiness -- I mentioned it's a work in progress. I have attached a short section of the document that showcases what I'm pretty sure is the main problem (the quotation marks). I will share the full file when the project is claimed.
I am using Lyx version 2.0.5 and need the exported pdfLatex to work fluidly with TeXworks version 0.4.3 r.857 MikTex 2.9
Please let me know if you can return to me a working Lyx document with all content, lyx notes, and references and such in tact. Since the bibliography file is not included, the citations might appear broken, but should work again when I put the bibliography file back in.
Thank you!
