Hi there, I already have a good setup running on Contabo. However, instead of cPanel and WHM i am using Virtualmin but only because its a personal setup. I am a Linux systems administrator since the past 13 years now i will try to answer your queries one by one. 1- A: Contabo has fixed rates for its VPS. If you go for Azure Cloud or AWS, you need to pay a lot more. Contabo gives you an unlimited bandwidth for traffic which you dont get with AWS or Azure. On AWS you will not be able to utilize the built in email server of cPanel but instead you would have to buy another service by Amazon known as the SES (Simple Email Service) and that will also bring an overhead to the cost. We can discuss more later on. 2. A: Well at first really depends on the VPS plan which you are buying. Secondly, we can create CPU affinity for certain services like Apache, PHP etc. to increase the performance. Optimization of the MySQL database will be an added boost to the performance which I will perform for you 3 & 4 A: As i already answered to question no. 2 we can create CPU affinity for certain services so that we can keep them from sharing compute with other services. 5. Yes i can migrate the whole setup for you but i consider to be a separate job and yes i have done this many times before. I will be taking the dump of the DB's and transferring complete sites by taking backups and transferring via wget. 7 & 8. I will ensure the proper DNS setup & NGINX / VARNISH / Litespeed.
