Projectile Equations

I need the equations for some projectile calculations. A calculator exists in this page that does something very similar to what I need: [login to view URL] You have to choose KNOWN PARAMETERS = Horizontal Distance (l), Max. Height (h) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Requirement #1 (exactly what the calculator mentioned above does): Provide equations that has the following input and output: Input: Horizontal Distance (D) Maximum Height (Ymax) Initial Height (Y0) Final Height (Yfinal) Gravity (g) Output: Initial Velocity (V0) Launch Angle (Theta) If more than one solution exist, please mention explicitly ------------------------------------------------- Requirement #2 (instead of maximum height, I specify the height at specific distance.. that means the projectile must have at least height Yspecial at a given X distance): Provide equations that has the following input and output: Input: Horizontal Distance (D) (Minimum) Height at specific given X (Yspecial) Initial Height (Y0) Final Height (Yfinal) Gravity (g) Output: Initial Velocity (V0) Launch Angle (Theta) If more than one solution exist, please mention explicitly ------------------------------------------------- Requirement #3 You can provide the equations as text, diagrams or script (matlab/python/c or similar)
