Mechanical Linkage Design

Hi there, I have reviewed the attached document with Linkage and it will not be a problem at all to optimize the design for the load and lifetime of the part. I certainly would require much more details such as material, ambient temperature, the factor of safety, type of load etc. I have developed large scale engine parts and gearbox for marine application. I would also like to discuss the expected output of the results. the final results are supposed to be as a report for third party evaluation or for internal purposes? I primarily work with ANSYS for the FEA but also well versed with other FEA Softwares. If you have any specific software requirements that can be arranged. Look forward to discussing it with you.

Hi. I'm mechanical engineer with extensive experience in design and analysis of mechanical systems, transmission systems, 2D/3D mechanical linkages and dynamical systems. I've read the description as well as the file you've provided. Generally the task consists of three stages. First stage is mechanical design, second is multi-body and kinematics/dynamics simulation and last one is FEA. I'm capable to do all three stages. For design I will use SolidWorks. For multi-body and kinematics/dynamics simulation I'm capable to use multi-body simulation software such as MSC ADAMS in order to calculate loads during motion of the linkage because dynamics load on joints and linkages are important parameter in design of the mechanism. Finally I'll perform FEA simulations using ANSYS based on the dynamics simulation results to verify the mechanical and fatigue strength of the system parts. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
