iPhone/iPad App - Mostly Table Views with some graphs

Hello,
My company has a portal website where customers can manage their accounts. We want to create a companion iPhone/iPad app. We have started the development of the app in-house but, since we've never done this before, are finding that we just don't know how. Here are the highlights of what the app will do/need:
-Tab bar controller (4 tabs) with initial login screen (this part is built)
Tab 1: Dashboard
-Will display some data in table view
-Will display some graphs
-Will display larger graph if screen is rotated
Tab 2: Backup Jobs
-Will display recent backup jobs in table view
-Will allow filtering of data by date, backup name, etc.
Tab 3: Resources
-Will display support case information in table view
-Will give user the ability to add/modify/close support cases
Tab 4: Settings
-Will let the user update their profile (table view/form)
-Will let the user update email notifications (table view/form)
-Log Out button
All data for the app will come from our existing database. We've already written the first API for user authentication (everything returned in JSON). We can write each additional API in partnership with the app developer so we give you exactly what you need. We also have some screenshots that can give a basic idea of layout.
We're willing to work as closely with the developer as need be to develop this. We can also hand over our existing Xcode project. The code may not be done correctly, but it will give you an idea of what we had so far. This is a new experience for us! The app will definitely need to be universal (iPhone / iPad).
