I am looking to simply have a shader modified to include a depthmask. I have a dissolving shader (file attached), and it currently dissolves a texture or color. I would like to have an option added where it can start out as a depthmask that hides everything behind it. And then the depthmask will dissolve revealing the object it was hiding
This is for use with Unity. And it will be used for mobile apps, so I don't believe VFX is an option right now. Ideally, it would add a bool property for when I would like to use the depthmask feature instead of a texture, so it could keep the current texture and color properties for when the depthmask feature isn't being used. But that part isn't very important, it can be a depthmask only option if that makes it easier
