SCOPE OF WORK:
The Application will have the following interfaces:
Customers Interface
Restaurants Interface
Delivery Personnel Interface (Drivers)
Super Administrator Interface (Owner)
Customers Mobile Interface
Login or Register.
Select location (Auto-Detect/Manual)
On selecting the location, a list of all nearby Restaurants will be available.
Option to Select Category/Sub-Categories
Search Bar to search for the desired restaurant/food item.
Filter/Sorting option by category, sub-category, price, delivery time, etc.
Select Desired Product > Quantity Required > Order Overview > Add to Shopping Cart
Apply Promo Code, if applicable.
Pay online via the available payment gateway
Upon placing the order, Customer(s)/Restaurant Owners/Admin will be notified.
Save as favorites
Provide Ratings & Comments to Restaurant(s).
Review Order History and Track Food Orders.
Saved Payment Methods
Partner with us (Register your Restaurant on the platform) (Form)
Customers can explore without login/sign up but need to register/login to place an order.
Delivery Persons Mobile Interface
Enroll by filling in requisite details; upload required documents for registration and click submit.
Upon successful submission, a request for approval will be sent to the Admin.
When approved, delivery will live on the platform to accept/reject orders.
View Total Orders Received (with date/month filter)
Overview of the status of all Orders, i.e. Received/Pending/Cancelled/Delivered (with date/month filter)
Whenever an order is received, an option to accept/reject the order:
If accepted, complete order details will be visible.
If rejected, a request for acceptance will be sent to other nearby delivery persons.
View Total Payments Received (with date/month filter)
View Total Earnings (with date/month filter)
View Order History/Navigation to order’s address (Pickup/drop)
Restaurant Owners – Web Interface
Enroll by filling in requisite details; upload required documents for registration and click submit.
Upon successful submission, a request for approval will be sent to the Admin.
When approved, restaurant owners can then proceed:
Add item(s) with price,
Add Category(s)/Sub-Category(s) w.r.t. items added,
Type of dishes available,
Location,
Distance of serviceability, and a few more details
When filled, items from a particular vendor/merchant will be visible to users.
Overview of Orders
Total Orders Received (with date/month filter)
Overview of the status of all Orders, i.e. Received/Pending/Cancelled/ Delivered (with date/month filter)
Whenever an order is received, accept/reject the order subject to availability:
If available, the vendor can accept and process the order.
If unavailable, the vendor can reject, and automatically user will be notified and a refund will be initiated.
View Total Payments Received (with date/month filter)
Super Administrator – Web Interface
Overview of Customers
Total Registered Customers (with date/month filter)
Block / Restrict, if required
Overview of Restaurant Owners
Total Registered Restaurant Owners (with date/month filter)
Add/Delete/Block/Restrict , if required
Overview of Delivery Persons
Total Registered Delivery Persons (with date/month filter)
Add/Delete/Block/Restrict , if required
Overview of Orders
Total Orders Received (with date/month filter)
Overview of the status of all Orders, i.e. Received/Pending/Cancelled/Delivered (with date/month filter)
Overview of Payments
Total Payment Received (with date/month filter) with respect to each vendor/merchant along with complete order details
Request for Approval
Approve/Reject Registrations of:
Restaurant Owners: Verify the details & documents submitted, then approve/reject as desired.
Delivery Persons: Verify the details & documents submitted, then approve/reject as desired.
Manage
Add/Delete/Update Contents/Images/Description
Manage Categories/Sub-Categories on the platform
Generate Promo Codes
Manage Payout for Delivery Persons & Restaurant Owners
