Hi We made quite a simple app = workers directory e.g plumbers, maids, tutors...etc It has sign up & payment - but when they get to payment we redirect to the website for payment Apple says that we are selling digital subscription & have to use in-app purchase I just wanted to ask Instead of trying to deal with in-app purchase stuff - do you think it would be wise to just move all the registration & payment to the website and just have the app free from any payment stuff? Do you think that would that be ok with apple or would it still be an issue? Looking for skilled person to advise, I will pay for your advise Thanks Steve

Hi Steve, That is correct, the way to do this is (without setting IAP up in the app itself) is to move the payment method to your site and have the app as a free install and allow them to login after suing your own pay wall. I can confirm this will pass review. I follow a lot of tech news and watched the problems that Spotify/Netflix had trying to get around IAP and Apple's 30% cut. After they removed alternative payment methods from their app (the one that was in review and kept getting rejected) and reduced the payment method to their site, Apple passed the app for review. If you don't have Spotify, download it and check out their site and pay attention to their method as great example. Apple and Spotify have a frosty relationship - so anything Spotify currently do and get accepted - you will be just fine too. I hope it helps and trust that you will pay for provider with the best advice given :) Best, El

Hi, There! I am a full stack iOS developer from concept to publishing to App Store as you can see my profile. I had published 100+ apps to App Store successfully. I am sure I can do your project within 1 day. Then your app will be approved by Apple in 1~7 working days. I will update result within a couple of hours.

Hi, I am having experience of 7 years in developing iOS apps. Yes, you can move your payment stuff to website. Your app should not tell anywhere that user has to go to website for payments.

I can tell you exactly what they means. Haha. About this question I asked apple stuff in the AppStore lab in wwdc2018, face to face with apple’s guys about 20 minutes.

Hello, I have read your requirement and understand your issue for payment integration. You can used different payment-gateway for payment. But i have question you accept payment when user signup ? I have suggestion to integrate payment gateway in your app. If possible then implement payment functionality after register user when user used service after login(plumbers, maids, tutors). You can used different payment gateway like stripe, braintree payments, paypal etc. I look forward to hearing from you Thanks and Regards Patel Yogesh
