Project Name: Dental Practice Management Software Requirements: 1-Replicates exactly OpenDental but as a web application only 2-Written completely in Java 8 using only latest Eclipse IDE 3-Must be designed to work for computers (PCs and Macs), and mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) 4-The code must be fully documented for Javadoc tool and uses only Java naming conventions for Java code and only mySQL naming conventions for the database 5-All the code must be stored in no more than 100 files. 6-Produce detailed UML diagrams using Eclipse IDE and detailed E-R diagrams using mySQL 7-Fully-tested and error-free software because it will be used for patient records 8-Fully secure by using highest security standards (AES) to store only encrypted data and accessing data only over encrypted requests (https) 9-Submit the source code and the copyrights of the source code, so we are the only owner of the source code and copyrights 10-Provide written details with screenshots how to install it and maintain it in our web server 11-One year free technical support (including fixing errors, updates, maintenance, etc.) Contract: A) Total Development Money Cost: 6,000 USD B) Total Development Time Cost: 90 days C) Development Money Cost Payments: OpenDental has 7 modules and the total cost of developing our software will be divided to 7 payments. One payment for each module. Each payment is divided by half to 2 payments, payment 1 and payment 2. We’ll pay you payment 1 before you start developing a module and we’ll pay payment 2 after you complete the development of that module. To pay you payment 2, you need to: 1-Build a working website that has the module so we can test that module 2-After we test it and it meets all our requirements (explained above in the requirements section), you send us the source code and give us the full instructions to install it and run it in our webserver 3-When the module is up and running in our web server witout any errors, we’ll send you payment 2 for that module 4-We continue using this model of payment until we complete all the modules of the project D) Development Time Cost Phases: OpenDental has 7 modules and the total time of developing our software will be divided to 7 phases. One phase for each module. The phases might not be equally the same length and we can agree on the length of each phase. E) Project Delay: 1-Each week delay after the deadline of a completed module (that you send me as complete), you lose 10% of the payment 2 2-If there are 3 delays in a completed module (that you send me as complete), we cancel the contract and we do not pay you anything anymore and we own any module you submit to us. F) Software quality (bugs): 1-Each module you complete and you send us, must be fully-tested and must be error-free because the software will be used to manage patient information. 2-Each error we discover after you send us as a completed module (that you send us as complete), you lose 5% of the payment 2 for that module 3-If there are 10 bugs in a completed module (that you send me as complete), we cancel the contract and we do not pay you anything any more and we own any module you submit to us.
