Hello,
I am in need of a C# programmer that has experience working with Outlook (2000/2/3) and MS-Exchange and has access to a domain for testing. I already have the code in place to do basic Outlook retrieval, but I cannot seem to get the Contacts in the Public Folders that are shown in Outlook and, I believe, hosted on the Exchange Server.
I have seen programs such as Peachtree's Accounting offer a similar feature and they utilize a Browse button to search for the correct folders. This is one way that would be acceptable. Another way would be to just automatically sync the database fields (limited number of fields, not all Outlook fields) from Outlook into the Access database, overwriting any duplicate entries.
I also need a means to sync the Contacts on the Outlook-side, that is, export Contacts from the database to wherever is pointed to in Outlook (public or 'private' contacts).
I will provide the database with the necessary fields as well as the shell of the program. No flashy graphics will be required, just simple readable code.
Please ask any questions.
We have experience handling the exchange server, we did a public calendar s/w that creates a calendar on the exchange server and then assigs users to it, and when each user takes an appointment its copied to the public folder the user is assigned to.
