Seeking a NodeJS and OAuth2 expert that can help create an SSO (single sign-on) solution. Users will log in to my NodeJS application using their credentials from an external website (controlled by me) that already has an OAuth server. Will also need assistance with use cases of fetching data through the REST API using the OAuth session. The website serving as the OAuth server runs the Invision Community Suite 4 (IPS4) software, which features an OAuth2 server and REST API. The NodeJS application to log in to is a game server application hosted on a different dedicated server. Details and possible solutions will be discussed with the awarded freelancer. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

As I understood, you have 2 servers - first is a community forums which manages user credentials (OAuth2), and second is a game server, and you wish to authorize users across these two servers with a NodeJS client (similar to how Twitter or Facebook does it), correct? I am very familiar with OAuth protocol and an expert with NodeJS, and if I misunderstood anything, I am sure we can figure details in the chat. Looking forward to it. -Art.

Hello, I have extensive experience in developing SSO solutions and extending WebServers (Apache based, MS IIS, Oracle OTD and NodeJS) to enforce Authentication/Authorization policies. If you are willing, we can have a simple solution(with no development work) in which we can use Apache WebServer proxy(that supports OpenID and OAuth ) in front of your NodeJS server. I have deployed such solution for top organizations who don't want to maintain own code and rely on Open Source third-party solutions. We can discuss more if you like the alternate solution. Thanks, Karan
