I am an expirienced KiCad user (a pcb design software) and i have already made much complex machines, and this will be easy. I have some questions about your design needs as well as some dimensions and constraints, and about the reach of the signal. Maybe a esp32 C3 could be a good option, but it will depend on your needs.
