Ionic document camera scanner improvement

Existing Mobile fax app developed on ionic framework has an existing camera to scan. Capture, crop, B&W conversion and save to PDF work satisfactorily however the scan capture quality degrades in the fax environment and the readability is poor.

Sample image below shows the same faxed document. #1 (camera scan) #2 (PDF attachment ) are shown as the recipient sees it. Again, the main issue is the improvement of the readable text.

The known available plug and play APIs for iconic framework do not work for shadow removal and the background "noise" that occurs when the captured image is put into the in the fax environment.

Developer Requirement:

1. The developer must be familar with fax technology- This is very different than emails.

Faxes are required for financial, medical, and legal reasons. Faxes are more secure than many other document transfer methods.

2. Experience working with documents in iconic environment

3. Fax experience a definite plus.
