Monochrome Print Restoration

I have a very old black-and-white print that I’ve already scanned at high resolution. Time has not been kind to it: deep fold marks break the continuity of the image and whole patches have faded away. I need those damaged and missing sections rebuilt so convincingly that the finished file looks exactly as the photograph would have on the day it was taken—no modern air-brushed feel, just seamless, period-accurate texture and tones. Because the final piece is destined for digital use, colour-profile accuracy and crisp, artifact-free output are essential. You can work in Photoshop, Affinity, or any comparable professional tool; what matters to me is a meticulous eye for period detail, careful dodge-and-burn or frequency-separation work where needed, and believable grain that blends with the untouched portions of the scan. Deliverable • A fully restored, high-resolution master (layered PSD or TIFF) plus a flattened PNG ready for immediate online display.
