Video Journalist / Editor Brazos Film & Video LLC - Fort Worth, TX Contract Brazos Film & Video is an Emmy award-winning documentary production company. Our documentary and non-fiction work is produced for television, corporate, transmedia and non-profit clients. Our production team has been producing documentary content since 1994. BFV is a small company with very high standards and is looking to grow it’s freelance editing team. We are adding an additional crew member to our production team. We are looking with someone with a broad knowledge of documentary video production including editing and production. YOU MUST RESIDE IN TARRANT COUNTY AND BE ABLE TO START WITHIN 2 WEEKS Position involves creating higher end, documentary style medical videos that are interview driven. We are looking for someone who can take multiple interviews and weave them into a unified story that has a beginning, middle and end and see each video to completion. Videos range in length from 60 secs to 5 minutes. Individual must be able to see the project from raw footage to completion with very little oversight. Tasks include but are not limited to: Multiple revisions, Audio sweetening, Creating and placing graphics, Color correcting. Skill sets we are looking for: Solid Final Cut Pro X skills Strong shooting skills (shot composition, lighting, creativity in the field) Knowledge of Cameras (C-300)/lenses and handheld shooting Strong Graphic Design Abilities (non 3D) Must be able to multi-task and perform some problem solving/troubleshooting Ability to work efficiently and deliver a high quality product Ability to take raw elements and craft a finished video with little direction Able to work with others in a constructive and productive way Able to collaborate with others in a productive way Must be able to handle multiple projects at a time Very Presentable to clients and well groomed.
