Search routine

This project entails search bar modification to my current classifieds ad program and converting the database from MS Access to My SQL or MS SQL database.? Search bar requirement is for ability to search by Country, State, city and Zip Code/Postal Code.? Currently the search is limited to area and general search. The requirement for the search is by County, State, and City with ability for pull down listing of Country, State and City.? When you select Country pull down list, I want the ability to Click on the Country, which triggers the States then populates them in the pull down list of States in a given Country. After selecting the States using the pull down list then the City gets populated in the pull down list, then I will have the ability to select the City.? After selecting the City using the pull down list then I will be able to hit search to search for classified ads in that City.? As far as the Zip Code/Postal Code search, I also want that included in the search capability to display all ads in specific Zip Code/Postal Code., this should be a standalone search based on the Zip Code/Postal Code for fast search by Zip Code/Postal Code.? I also want this integrated as part of the pull down menu after the selection of the city.? I have seen examples of these type of searches on other sites. My requirements are also to convert current database from MS ACCESS to make either? My SQL or MS SQL, which ever the programmers recommend for security and robust database to minimize errors and issues/problems. I want a coder/programmer to continue with future development of the site for more features in the future upon completion of the first project. I want to make sure that a user can move the mouse to the Country then the pull down? list appears with Countries then able to? click the country of choice.? After clicking the Country of choice the user should be able to move the mouse to the State then the pull down list? of? State appears where the user can now? click? the State of choice.? After Clicking the State of choice the user should be able to move the mouse to the City then the pull down list of City appears where the user can now click the City of Choice.? At this point you can select the search button to search the ads in the City.? The other option is for the user to Click Zip Code/ Postal Code search for fast search by typing in the Zip Code/ Postal Code. I want to make sure that the Coder/Programmer will be able to convert my current MS ACCESS Data Base to My SQL or MS SQL which ever is more secure and with less issues with data corruption.
