This functionality requires enhancing some existing functionality while also developing new functionality. We have a staff of 150+ volunteers who 'manage' or 'coordinate' (there are 2 distinct roles) 60+ projects each month. As all are volunteers, we request that each log into our system and 'opt-in' for the projects that fit their schedule (this part is built), and the MAX number of projects they would be willing to do in the given month (this needs to be added to the 'opt-in' functionality).
When we have received the majority of the 'opt-in' responses, we would like for the system to programatically recommend the optimal coverage solution for all our projects, based on the availability and number of monthly projects selected by our team.
**Successful and swift completion of this project will lead to additional opportunities as we have a list of other enhancements/requests we'd like to code.
Size and scope of additional projects vary from simple bug fixes to larger functionality enhancements like this.
**One Brick ([login to view URL]) has an extensive home-grown back end Web calendaring and volunteer tracking system. The organization is 100% volunteer run, and the coding has been done by volunteer developers. Our most recent developer has moved and is no longer able to help us, yet our growth requires additional enhancements to our functionality in order to maintain our efficiencies.
Nearly all our code is MS ASP/SQL Server on a shared hosting site. Alternatively, we have a dedicated Linux box that we use as as a mail server. That server could do the processing and serve it back to the website.
## Deliverables
1) Mock-ups of any new web pages to be developed so that we may review, edit and approve any proposed UI BEFORE back end coding begins.
2) Complete and fully-functional working web code that can be integrated into our site, corrects the errors we've been experiencing on our pages, and performs the described functionality.
3) Complete and fully scripted adds/edits to our database tables to support the required code enhancements
The attached file shoes and explains the process as we have it currently, and describes the functionality we wish to incorporate. All data presented is queried from the database.
4) Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's test environment. Upon approval buyer will move to production environment.
5) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
Microsoft ASP website with SQL Server back-end database, on a shared/hosted server. We do NOT have command prompt access to that server.
Alternatively, we have a dedicated Linux box that we use as as a mail server. That server could do the processing and serve it back to the website.
