Webhosting Control Panel Development - IIS/ASP.NET(repost)

Details: This project is for converting and upgrading an existing web hosting control panel. Experience with web hosting, IIS domains, and general server configuration is a plus. The updated graphic design and all icons have been completed. A website master page containing the primary layout will be provided. The existing system is built around classic ASP code and a SQL Server database. We will provide full access to a development server with the software running on it along with the current database structure. Sample data will be provided for testing usability of the system. This project has several goals: 1. Convert all classic ASP pages into their ASP.NET equivalent. (using VB.NET) 2. Add new features to the control panel per our requirements 3. Update database structure to accommodate new features and also to fix bad database design principals from the old system. 4. Integrating graphical icons into the new layout and general CSS design updates The control panel will be a distributed system based around a core set of ASP.NET web services. The core web services for controlling IIS, NT User Accounts, FTP Server, File System options, and SQL Server databases has already been completed and will be pre-installed for your use. The developer chosen for this project will have the goal of integrating the functions of these existing web services to the control panel so an advanced level of knowledge concerning web services is required. Please note: You will not have to do any low level coding for this project since the web services mentioned above already contain the needed features. It is simply a matter of making the web services work within the client interface. Knowledge of Atlas (Ajax) is a bonus. Qualified coders may request further information, including, access to a demo of the existing system, and a full feature list of what additions will be made. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Project must be completed using Visual Studio 2005 using VB.NET. All code will run under IIS 6 and the .NET framework version 2.0. The database server is MS SQL Server 2005 Standard. (we will NOT accept work in C#, please do not bid if this is you can't work with VB.NET)
