We need a custom built application, what we call our “Contractor Skills Database??. We need someone who is willing to work closely with us to finish this project ASAP. Long story short: Each “Director?? (business owner) will have their own contractors. Other Directors can search through the “Contractor Skills Database?? for other people’s contractors, but will only see the contact information for their contractors. REQUIRED: Programmer must be willing to communicate with us daily regarding this project, and needs to be willing to show us site updates at least every 2 days NOTE: We will assist in development by providing substantial content. Most, if not all, of the front end pages have been created (designed in FrontPage). We need a programmer to script the backend, DB, and connections to make these pages work. Below are the front end pages we’ve created (also included as an attachment). They will help you determine the main functionality that we are looking for. Keep in mind, these pages were NOT created by a programmer, so the fields, links, etc. are for reference and to help convey the concept. If there is a better / more effective & efficient way to do any of the following, we are very open to suggestions. IMPORTANT: We also need a user management system build to contain this and our other systems. Each “Director?? (business owner) will need their own LoginID and password to access this and other data on the site. We need a system with an online admin interface that will allow us to create users, modify passwords, and restrict / limit access to specific directories… oh, and have a password reminder for the Directors. This user management application needs to be able to allow us to still use MS FrontPage to edit files / directories.

CONTRACTOR’S SECTION: [url removed, login to view] Contractor can login or create a new account. [url removed, login to view] The beginning of the signup process The following data must be placed into a MySQL DB. After the submission of each page “continue?? the data should be submitted to the DB so that if the user loses their connection, they do not have to start over. [url removed, login to view] First “Contractor's Application?? page. Note: The contractor needs to manually enter the “Director ID?? of the director that referred them. In the future this will be auto-populated***. [url removed, login to view] Second “Contractor's Application?? page. [url removed, login to view] Third and final “Contractor's Application?? page. [url removed, login to view] Password reminder tool. [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] Pages for contractors to update / edit their information. DIRECTOR’S SECTION: [url removed, login to view] This is the most complicated and important portion of this script. It is modeled after Dell’s refurbished computer search routine. A Director can search by any, some, or all of the variables to narrow down their search. The column heading can be sorted by clicking on it. Click again to toggle ascending or descending. [url removed, login to view] After the results are displayed, a Director can click on one of the “Contractor ID?? and pull up this page. Contact Information only displays only when Director ID = Login ID. NOTE: Each Director can only see the contact information for the contractors associated with his/her “Director ID??. For example, if I do a search for a certain skill, all contractors with that skill will be shown, but I will ONLY see the contact information for the contractors who signed up with MY Director ID. If they are NOT my contractor, I will see the contact information for the Director associated with that contractor…. Got it????  [url removed, login to view] After the results are displayed, a Director can click on one of the “Director ID?? and pull up this page. Right now it is a manual process, but will be automated with our next application***. ***Note, these manual processes are part of our stage II project that is for the Director Signup and maintenance. This application will include the automatic creation of a website based on data a Director provides (similar to the contractor signup) and the ability to make changes to this information at any time which will be reflected on the website. As mentioned above, we are very open to suggestions and are look forward to working with a programmer who doesn’t mind frequent communication. Good luck with your bid!
