We are currently using an Open Source script called phpSupport version 5.2
Details about this script can be found at [url removed, login to view]
-We currently use phpSupport as a “feedback management system” which allows us to capture feedback from users and process it just like we would trouble tickets.
-In order to capture feedback, we developed an ActionScript flash-based input form for phpSupport which passes variables through the script into the database. We modified some of the language (i.e. changing ticket to feedback, etc) but other than that the system is intact as version 5.2
-The system is on our dedicated server (linux = Fedora 1, MYsql = [url removed, login to view])
What we need:
-Basically, we would like the system to capture 1 additional piece of information that is not currently captured
-We plan to include the feedback form in multiple flash files.
-The problem is that the system currently cannot identify which flash file the user was viewing when they decided to send feedback. Users could be viewing any one of the files and the feedback all gets lumped together into the trouble ticket system.
We want an additional variable to pass a “hidden variable” that would identify the flash file the user used to send feedback (example flashfile=”26”) that would pass into phpSupport and be integrated into the system
-This would require modification of the database, script and input form.
