PHP Website Coder, 10 + Hrs/wk. Steady work.

I’m looking for a freelance PHP programmer with a minimum of 3 years website experience. I’ll pay $30/hr, up to $40/hr.. Since some of the work is brainstorming with the team by phone, it’s important you speak English well and have a phone (sorry, Skype is too unreliable). We mostly maintain existing websites, and that work covers a broad range of skills: PHP, XML, JS, HTML, Smarty templates, PostGreSQL, and MySQL. Sometimes you’d be asked to make a button in Photoshop (but I have an Artist for the real design stuff). Some Linux experience is helpful. Now if you have these skills, that’s a good start. Next would be whether you’re a disciplined coder (meaning, do you write clean code and are you kind enough to add a few comments to help the next guy!). The next consideration is whether you’ve stayed abreast of Google’s latest ranking algorithms. I’m not talking keyword density and Title tags. I mean issues of HTML structure, code-to-text ratios, CSS usage, keywords in the URL, auto populating Title and description tags, etc., etc.. The days of just being a great PHP guy are over because one mistake will impact ranking enough to pay your year’s wage in lost sales. So, I pay well, with bonuses, but I expect a lot. If you’re on your PC all the time, know PHP really well (in a web environment), and stayed up with MattCutts on SEO issues (I don’t need an SEO guru, just someone who understands code related SEO issues), then please take the time to fill-out the questions below.
