I am interested in this: I want a script that sits on my cobalt raq 3 server (redhat/apache) and watches the time in GMT and checks a databse at :00 :15 and :30 of the hour then dilas the phone. A mysql table would hold information about when to call a phone number and such then the script dials a phone number from the web and lets the phone ring till it is either answered or a certain number of rings happens. I am trying to set up an automated web-based wake-up call system for my business where users login to a page and specify up to 3 wake-up calls. For more info, please email me.
