We are currently transferring our site to a new host/servers(x4). We are seeking someone to effect this transition, transfer all our databases successfuly, test and go live. There are 7 databases (jobs board, property board, huge directory, vehicles, classifieds, web based email, forum and some smaller ones (mysql), linksql/dbmansql in perl-cgi and we have many different types of feeds such as xml/javascript etc. Most of the db's are connected through a community type databases. The servers are apparently configuered and we will need someone with UNIX experience also to fully understand and appreciate our site, its processes (static html build processes etc) and advise on how best to utilsie the 4 servers to best effieciencies. Working very closely with us in UK timeframes using YIM and advising us on every step to be taken and in return we will provide dedicated support to you. We appreciate also that there are many enhancements that can be made/created and as such we would like someone/people who are able to advise us on potential enhancements and work with us to improve our business aims and objectives and plan with us future requirements (short to medium, medium to long term). Our car section also requires enhancing as the current client feed (daily uploads of 10,000+ cars) is not effecinet and the client has diiferent options to take forward. Following the successful transfer of our site and going live want someone to implement with our client a better and more effecient method. Skills: Unix Set up (Apache etc), Perl-cgi, SQL, MySql, PHP, HTML, Javascript, XML, DBman, LinksSql, GMail etc. The successful bidder will need to be totally available in our timeframes to carry this out without distractions. Our budget for this project is circa $1000 and the project deadline is within 5 days to complete.
