I am looking for a Java developer with experience of java applets who can develop a proof of concept prototype or amend our very basic applet code.

The project is to develop a java applet client (or amend our applet) to connect to the a server application based on the RedDrawf open source server (we currently have a working server application).

The applet should use the RedDwarf client. The applet will be downloaded from the same server it is connecting to so there should be no need for code signing or authentication.

The applet should work in a real browser not only in the appletviewer.
