importing data to a sql base trough xls and php

hello, i have a simple php search page under phpmyadmin and sql server, and now i need to fill the data on the database, so what i need is: 1- a way to fill all the data, i belive that an xls for every table is ok, the xls needs to have a colum for every column on the table, so what i need is a php page to make the connection to the database and fill an specific selected table (from a list of all the possible tables, 9 to the moment) , download the xls for the table, upload the xls, and then update the data of the selected table on the database with the uploaded xls. 2- on the already made product detail page, make a "scroll" for all the images of the product, for the moment only displays 1 image, we need to read the number of images to display for the product and ubication of the images a table on the database (is not like this for the moment), and show them, 1 by one with an previous, next image buttons; it is also needed to update the product table and add the image foregin key (the image and product table already exists, tough).
