Paid Internship: php, mysql and ajax programmer

Experienced software developer seeks an entry-level/intermediate programmer for a paid three month internship. This is a real opportunity to learn from a senior technical resource as well as show off your existing talent. Over the course of three months I am looking to enhance a simple web application for a family-based business. Upon completion of a successful internship we will provide good feedback as well as a solid employment reference. I am seeking someone with working knowledge of the following web technologies: - Ajax, Javascript, PHP, MySQL and Html/CSS Additionally the candiate must: - Be able to work unsupervised. - Take direction and work to project specifications. - Exercise creative problem solving skills. - Write clean code. - Keep good notes and documentation. Preference will be given to applicants with programming experience and samples of their work. We will provide - Full orientation reviewing the project and deliverables. - Rough css, and site templates and javascript functions. This is not a design project although clean coding and simple layout is required. - A test server as a work environment so that you can develop in a functioning environment. I will also be providing quality assurance and direct feedback. Your responsibilities: - Clean and efficient code is to be maintained at all times which meets project requirements. - The successful candidate will be required to provide daily updates and be available for skype or IM meetings to discuss any needed changes/edits. Your fees: - Please specify the expected weekly pay in your bid. I prefer a full time candidate (40 hours per week) but will consider a part-time internship for the right person. Payments: - Payments will be made weekly for the entire duration of the project. Severability - I reserve the right to end the internship for non-performance, so please only bid on this project if you are serious about enhancing your talents and applying yourself to the work. The successful candidate will also be required to sign an assignment of intellectual property and non-disclosure agreement.
