Website redesign - switching from 2- to 1-frame page layout.

Hello, This project is for redesign of web site which looks exactly as pecksofficeplus.com. The whole redesign will be performed because we're going to try promoting the web site via Google AdWords and by sending email to customers with direct links to particular pages depending of their industry and interests. Most of the work will be most likely copy-paste old content into newly created page template which will be used for all pages, probably with very few exceptions. The site uses two-frame layout (and probably two more frames - left and right just for page background) so when you click on any link the content of this page opens in the main (bottom) frame. The top frame does contain company's logo and tabs with links. I would like to have the whole site redesigned the way that each page will have its own URL which can be used to access this page directly but will include the header. Right now the header is separated in top frame so if we use, say, the link [login to view URL] it will open just this page without the header which is not acceptable for us anymore. Current site is mostly HTML (saved with .php extension so it can call external includes as [login to view URL] on the bottom on each page, some PHP scripts and JavaScript for tabs and fading images on front page and other pages. Some page may have some space reserved on the right site for vertical scroller that should be removed from main frame as with new design layout the whole page will be scrolled, not just the content of main frame. There is an external hosted product database/order form used, and you can go there either by clicking on shopping card icon on header, by typing user name/password on customer login section on home page which will be passed there. All this functionality should be preserved as well. Some pages like [login to view URL] was designed to use right scroll bar so there was space reserved for it. This table cell should be removed and the whole table with page content - centered. You may need to increase the table width from, say, existing 930px to 950px (not sure about exact number, I believe the whole site uses fixed width of 950px. Right now the main frame uses the whole height of the page even there is nothing to display (say, on About us page and big screen you'll see both gray frames from left and right and white main frame from top frame to the bottom even only a half of main frame is populated with text and pictures. Your new design will use the same fixed width as old one and each page will use only the height that required to display the content in the browser. So if the page is short and will be displayed on half of the screen, there will be no right scroll bar and the page will be surrounded with grey background from the left, right and bottom. If the page is longer than the screen, right scroll bar will appear and we will be able to scroll down to see the bottom of the site. Of course, in this case the header which is now fixed will be invisible. Other requirements and thoughts. Gray background on the left and right side of main window should be preserved. The new redesigned site must work and looks similar without difference in IE, Firefox (PC, Mac) and Safari (PC, Mac) as it is right now. Please test it thoroughly to ensure all the existing scripts work and the formatting and fonts are preserved. Links to external sites will open in new window (currently they open in main frame). The site should be redesigned SEO-friendly as the next site improvement will involve this kind of work. Meta tags will be different for each page + unified. I believe we may have now some pages with includes for key words. You will have ONE WEEK to complete this project. Please do NOT bid if you CANNOT complete this project within this timeframe. We will unblock the payment once everything is tested and if there is any error it should be corrected right away. We will provide you with FTP access to our server and would like to watch the progress of this project so if there is any problem we'll work together to solve it right away. We would like to know what will be the actual structure and see your new page template online on our server before you start applying it to all pages. Old version of the site must be online intact and operational until you are ready with new one to minimize the downtime. So once you're ready with [login to view URL] and, say, [login to view URL] (because it does contain script for pictures and it is longer than other) pages that utilize new design, just upload them on our server and let us know so we can look at them and make final comments if required. We expect you do give us a fair price as we believe this is not the most difficult work you've ever done. We are on tight budget (you know what's the world economy is).
