Position: Web Developer
Cats Eye Webs is seeking a WordPress Web developer with Strong Project Management Skills that can build WP sites from the coding level, manage larger projects along with updates and resolve issues.
This position is for someone who can come in evaluate current code, projects and company work flow.
Understanding of design including working knowledge and technical skill of adobe creative suite, methodologies, conventions, and trends is highly preferred.
Minimum Skills Required:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Full working knowledge of WordPress and its core functions (at the code level)
• Significant experience developing custom WordPress themes and plug-ins
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Proven experience building WordPress themes/plugins.
• Understanding of WordPress coding best practices.
• WordPress/Programming security best practices.
• High skills in PHP, CSS, HTML5, MYSQL, JAVASCRIPT, JQUERY
• Min. 5+ Years of experience in WordPress development
Responsibilities:
• Plugin Development and Optimization
• Involvement in the planning and specifications for websites and plugins
• Development of integrations between WordPress and third-party application (API Integrations)
• Development within multiple server configurations, including Development, QA, and Production servers
• Write light, clean, logical, re-usable and well-commented code
• Create Documentation for Operational Use
• Creating user friendly CSS
Daily Activities:
• Updates to websites,
• Troubleshooting and problem solving,
• Building websites in WordPress
