I have worked on the development of the first version of this install profile. So, I know more than 80% of it. As you can observe almost all demo ads are in Moldova, and I am from Moldova :) In order to get your tasks done you need not only one custom module but 2: The first one is for the proximity search, because there is no proximity search for the database search service class there is no such contributed module. But on the DrupAds I have used the Seach_api_db service. And the second custom module is for the newsletter for the search. For the second task you need the Drupal for Facebook module. As for the task 3 and 4 you need a view. Actually I have some questions on the 4th task, but if you will consider my application we will have more things to clarify. Thank you, and have a good day.
