I am also a developer, and I will expect you to be able to discuss your work with me in detail. *** This project has a two week deadline [8/7/17] *** *** Goal *** Create activity type that will allow a teacher to (1) upload an image and (2) highlight areas on the image that may be selected by students and scored as a correct answer. *** Tasks *** 1) Activity creation form -- Title / Question -- Description / Subtext -- Image upload ---- Should only accept images with a 16x12 ratio ---- *If possible* please include a “crop” feature to assist teacher in creating the 16x12 sized image 2) Create correct answer selection ability for teacher -- After image is uploaded: ---- Image is overlayed with select-option form, styled as a 16x12 grid on top of the picture ---- Each select-option has a numeric value (1, 2, 3 … 190, 191, 192) ---- Teacher will select which squares are correct answers ---- All other options are incorrect 3) Create student question activity -- Student will be presented with quiz activity that will only allow them to move forward after they have selected the correct grid options -- Student only needs to select one correct grid option for correct answer *** Task Notes *** -- Planning is a big first step for this job. Please be prepared to tell me how you intend to build this PRIOR to beginning development. -- The student activity does not need to be scored, but it *must* lock user progress until they have provided a correct answer
