Greetings! i really believe i have the knowledge to accomplish this for you, I've developed a plugin which have some similarities to what you are asking for: what i actually did: get the input from and form, store it in an XML and save it to a server directory If the xml previously existed i would get the data from the XML and show it in the form. i guess what you are asking for is just read from the xml and immediately store that data into the database (i've also worked with wordpress database before $wpdb->insert()). well if you get to read this and you consider hiring me, i'd like you to contact me before doing so, just to ensure that i actually understood your requirements.
