BACKGROUND
The proposed product is a web and mobile application. At its most basic form it is a cross between a social media site and calendar tool. I am preparing the business plan for this product as part of an MBA program.
I need a consultant to aid me in the technical details and perhaps participate in development later this year.
WHAT I NEED
Although I have project management and product design skills, I lack the technical skills to develop the product I envision. I need you to help me create it. I need a technical partner to work with me on this during just the planning phase to start, and more long term if we are a good fit.
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR
You should be familiar with all major web programming languages, even if only proficient in a few relevant ones. You should have the knowledge and experience to guide me in mapping out the technical specifications that engineers will need. You should also have the skills to create minimal product iterations quickly. Familiarity with database programming, search algorithms, and integration with third party applications is preferred. A long term partner will ideally be overseeing other freelance engineers to develop the minimum viable product.
Product specifics will be provided to select finalists. It is my wish to compensate those finalists for their response to further questions.
