I had a tool made from a coder on Freelancer last summer that scrapes price and shipping availability data from a large online retailer and updates price and quantity on my Amazon store. I already have the tool running on a VPS. It is currently running as PHP and is setup via task scheduler. I am looking to add a secondary online retailer source, so I need the tool to scrape price and shipping availability data from another website and update items on Amazon. I am not sure if it would be easiest to modify my current program, or just duplicate it and run on another VPS. I am looking for a coder who would be available for more jobs in the future as my previous coder who built the original tool I'm running is no longer available. Hey there I read the description of your scrapper project in detail. I have previously done scrapping so it is no problem for me. The thing you wanted to know that id the previous code is usable for this project or not! It is not usable as the new site you want to be scrapped would have a different structure so totally new code would be used. Hey, it should not be necessary to run a new VPS instance. Just scrape both sites sequentially and update your store in one go, unless you want the updates from the two sites at different intervals. Would really need to see the sites and the script you are running. I've previously done scraping with python/node.js from sites like Wikipedia, Twitter etc. Should be smooth sailing. Regards, Paul
