WP-CLI scripts for database and file system backup and store on remote server

I need two wp-cli scripts for exporting the WordPress database and file system to a remote server (zipped). wp-cli is installed and running on the (Apache) server. A cron job should call the scripts. I know, I could do that easily using a plugin. However, since the databases are pretty large (up to 3 GB) I would rather avoid backup plugins like BackWPup. The first script should backup the database and send the zipped file to a remote server. The second script should backup the whole WP file system and send it zipped to a remote server. Filenames should include the timestamp.
