The Martinez Brothers Website Project Brief: Updates & SEO Background The Martinez Brothers website ([login to view URL]) is built on Wordpress CMS. We would like to add additional features to the website and optimize the site for search engines. Deliverables We would like to add the following features to the existing website: • Email Capture Overlay o This email capture overlay will appear when users land on [login to view URL] o The goal of this overlay is to encourage email sign-up for future communications from The Martinez Brothers o PSD and JPG design are available. • Press contact email in footer o In the footer at the bottom of the landing page, below “Americas Bookings” link, we would like to add a “Press Contact” link o Text will read: Press Contact o Link will launch an email to contact • Update single-line logo (which appears when you scroll) o The single-line “The Martinez Brothers” logo needs to be updated with a new .eps file. o This logo appears after the user starts scrolling, and the top navigation turns into a sticky nav. • Implement captions for picture or slideshow o You can see an example of a slideshow when you click on the “Miami Heat: Art Basel 2016 with RZA” article in the “News” section. Currently, we cannot write captions for slideshows or a single image article. We would like to implement captions (up to 3 lines long) for images and slideshows. • Google Analytics Implementation o We would like to install Google Analytics tracking for the website. o Please implement Google Analytics and send us a link to the dashboard for tracking. • News Section Images Should be Clickable o The “News” section hero image and the thumbnail images below should be clickable. o On click, it should be the same functionality as clicking on “More” which causes an article overlay to appear. • Implement Favicon o We would like to implement a favicon using the "TMB" logo seen in the footer. • SEO o Please assess the website and its meta-data, and optimize the site for top search engines (primarily Google) • QA and De-bugging o After making development and SEO updates, please QA test and optimize the site for mobile, tablet, and desktop. Timeline We would like the above deliverables to be implemented by January 15, 2017.
