Hello Freelancers! We have a customised Wordpress theme that uses many many plugins, including Visual Composer. The site is extremely slow and has all sorts of page speed load issues. Now that the development of the site is complete, we need to make it fast, VERY FAST, like < 1 second page speed load time This will require a FULL REDEVELOPMENT of the website using Wordpress. It's not Wikipedia, just a basic small service website approx 50 pages. You will be required to develop the new site on your server. The new site must LOOK AND FEEL EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE CURRENT SITE, with all images and functionality, SEO back-end content, 301's etc etc Furthermore, I would like you to shorten our URL structure (with the corresponding 301's) The new back-end must be easy enough for me to add/change content or SEO settings without using css or html to do so - I do not need to use Visual Composer any more The website is [login to view URL] - anyone contacting me outside of Freelancer will forgo all current and future work opportunities with me Once the new website has been uploaded on my server and working 100% the final milestone will be released. Hi mate! Just a suggestion: you don't have to throw the entire site out just optimize it. For starters there are a lot of queries outside the site to google and youtube... And you have 1.5mb CSS files and this means that this site is not optimized at all. The HTML has a lot of crap inside of it, and this isn't because of visual composer... it's poor wordpress theme development. But nothing what can't be fixed. Let me know if we can have a little chat about this.
