What is needed? I own a car parking where we need a new booking system in the near future since our current system is based on a hotel booking website and the backend is fully encrypted so we cannot change anything there. What do we need? A reservation management system hosted on our webserver, opensource. Frontend: A great looking reservation system with availability check,pricing, and be prepared for future online payments. Backend: Reservation report with: - A list of cars arriving today and be able to check other days or day range and be able to sort on arrival time. - A monthly report - A calendar view availability overview - A calendar view where to be able to change availability for a specific date. Pricing: - Be able to add pricing per day like : 1d=20 2=20 3=25 4=30 5=35 - Be able to add high/ low seasons pricing by a specific date Availability check We have approx 80 parking spots(60 inside/ 20 outside), it is valet service so we park the cars. Therefore is no need to let each booking be assigned to a specific place, if 50 inside places booked for a night there will be 10 available. People can only book if there is place available. User management It will be great to have user management, Add VIP places with privilege for some places, let peope be able to cancel or change their booking, again there has to be a availability check again. I hope you get a impression what i am looking for, a can show you some examples. I am hoping the have the system online in the beginning of 2019. Lets see where this goes to for now, i am planning to make a extended description soon with my needs and wishes. Do you think you will be able to program this? Any questions? Just ask!

Your needs seem to be very specific and based on that and only because of that i'm replying to you. when already made and free solution exist for your needs i always think you should use it. who wants to reinvent the wheel? Although i think if you use a good open source cms system you could get a fare price and the option to customize your software/website as you want/need. I would like to have a better description about the frontend part and user interaction/features... That is important to understand the actual effort! But from what i saw it's doable with umbraco, you can take advantage of a ready built in users management system, content management and a great and secure solution. Regarding to your specific needs i would build a custom section on umbraco to handle all you business needs that at this stage is essentially stock control and booking. Having this done you could think about payment integration and who knows why not an app. after you have the database ready we can share this info across mobile or other external sources since i can easily build an api for you. Will use php - MySQL for server language and jquery - javascript - ajax for the frontside plus a nice bootstrap template so everything looks good on any screen size accesing the site. Have an example of a working reservation system i made (catch is that it's in spanish) but behaves a little like what you need (it's a place where you go to get cryo therapy and has 5 cabins available, so the user sees like a traffic light for each hour available) Please let me know if interested, it's a nice project you have.
