I am updating our Quality Management System Inspection Application so that inspection results enforce our Acceptable Quality Level rules that are already built into the Application instead of relying on manual checks. Right now the Accept and Reject fields can be saved even when they break the AQL limits; this must change. Here is what I need done: • AQL table is not fully functionable and needs completion • Make the inspection automatically set the overall result to FAIL whenever the Accept and Reject fields, entered as simple Pass/Fail indicators, do not satisfy the AQL table. • When an inspection is in a failed state, the “Release Confirmation” step must also fail and clearly state “DO NOT RELEASE” so no one can move the lot forward. • The Department lookup should bring up the department name, not the individual user’s name, when the field is selected. • Allow the Gauge ID# field to accept, store and display multiple Gauge ID numbers for a single record. The system should alert users immediately on-screen and also dispatch an email so supervisors see the same failure in their inbox. If you have experience enhancing database-driven QMS modules and can deliver clean, well-documented code that meets these points, I’m ready to get started.

Hello, I've built QMS inspection systems before — the tricky part is enforcing result logic without breaking existing workflows, and that's where most teams stumble. We know how to thread that needle cleanly. We've been building web and mobile apps for 14 years and shipped 1500+ projects — mostly SaaS platforms, custom business systems, and automation tools. PHP and .NET are both daily work for us. We've handled inspection workflows, compliance enforcement, and data validation at scale, which is exactly what you're tackling here. The bid amount is just a starting point. Once we talk through what "enforce inspection results" means in your system — database changes, UI updates, approval flows, integrations — I'll give you a real number. Let's hop on a quick call so I can ask a few questions about your current stack and what's blocking you. That'll get us to an actual scope and timeline. Message me whenever you're ready. The fastest way to make inspection results enforce rules reliably in a QMS application is to move that logic into the submission handler at the backend, if it lives in the UI or depends on the user taking the right action, it will always have gaps. With a PHP or .NET stack, I'd build a rule evaluation layer that intercepts each inspection submission, checks it against your defined pass/fail criteria and required fields, and automatically routes the result to the correct follow-up: corrective action, approval queue, or escalation, depending on what the outcome triggers. That way enforcement becomes a system behaviour, not a user behaviour. To start, I'd map your current inspection data model and the exact rules you need enforced, then deliver a working implementation you can test against real submissions within three to four days. Is the enforcement logic you're adding driven purely by inspection scores and field completeness, or are there external references like a specific standard or regulation that each result needs to be checked against? Please provide me with the existing code .. I have more than 15 years of work experience for related stuff. Will complete all these points but existing code needs to be checked once. • Make the inspection automatically set the overall result to FAIL whenever the Accept and Reject fields, entered as simple Pass/Fail indicators, do not satisfy the AQL table. Looking forward to have a chat with you to discuss further.

Hi, I can enhance your QMS application so that it implements those 5 items you've listed in your bid request. You can depend on me to complete the project as modifying an existing application is my forte. I am comfortable diving into an existing body of work in order to improve or extend it, while keeping the already functioning bits intact. I am also flexible with technology stacks, be it PHP, C#, Python etc. Question: Any specific rules you'd like to add into the existing AQL to the point where you'll consider it as complete ? Let me know if you'd like me to help. Thank you for your time.

Hi I can update your QMS Inspection Application so the AQL rules are enforced automatically instead of depending on manual review. I have experience with database-driven inspection modules, validation rules, lookup relationships, workflow conditions, multi-value fields, email alerts, and clean audit-friendly logic. A key technical problem is that Accept/Reject values can currently be saved even when they violate the AQL table, which creates a compliance risk before lot release. I can solve this by completing the AQL table logic, adding automatic validation against the inspection result, and forcing the overall status to FAIL when the entered Pass/Fail values do not meet the configured limits. I will also make the Release Confirmation step fail with a clear “DO NOT RELEASE” message and trigger both on-screen alerts and supervisor email notifications. I can adjust the Department lookup to show department names correctly and update the Gauge ID# field to store and display multiple gauge numbers for one inspection record. My focus is to make the inspection workflow reliable, traceable, and safe so failed lots cannot move forward incorrectly. Thanks, Hercules

Enforcing your AQL validation rules... I saw you need to lock down your QMS inspection application to strictly enforce AQL limits, automatically preventing users from overriding failures or releasing non-compliant lots. Here is how I will architect these backend enhancements: State & Release Lockdown: I will write the backend validation logic to automatically trigger a "FAIL" state if the pass/fail inputs violate your AQL matrix. This will hard-lock the “Release Confirmation” step, triggering the “DO NOT RELEASE” warning and blocking any further forward state transitions in the database. UI Alerts & SMTP Dispatch: I will wire an immediate on-screen validation error event and configure the backend email handler to instantly dispatch a failure notification to the supervisors' inbox. Schema & Lookup Overhaul: I will refactor the Department SQL query to pull the correct department string (instead of the user name), and alter the Gauge ID data structure (via a relational mapping table or JSON array, depending on your schema) to seamlessly store and display multiple values per record without breaking legacy entries. Quick question: I noticed the project is tagged with both PHP and C#/.NET. Is the core backend of your QMS application built on .NET/C# with SQL Server, or is it a PHP architecture? (I just want to prep the correct local testing environment before we begin).

Hi, I've worked extensively on QMS and ERP inspection modules where AQL logic drives pass/fail decisions, so your requirements are very familiar to me. My approach will be to add server-side validation that cross-references the Accept/Reject entries against your existing AQL lookup table before any save is committed, automatically flagging the overall result as FAIL when thresholds are breached. For the Release Confirmation step, I'll implement a conditional gate that checks the inspection status and blocks progression with a clear "DO NOT RELEASE" message while triggering both an on-screen alert and an SMTP-based email notification to supervisors. I'll also fix the Department lookup to query the department name field instead of the user record, and modify the Gauge ID# field to support a normalized one-to-many relationship so multiple gauge entries are stored and displayed cleanly. I can start immediately and will ensure the code is well-documented throughout.

Hi, I understand the goal is to move your QMS inspection workflow from manual validation to enforced system-level AQL compliance so invalid inspections can no longer be approved or released accidentally. The key requirement is implementing reliable validation logic that automatically controls inspection status, release authorization, notifications, and related database behavior. I have experience working with database-driven quality/workflow systems involving validation rules, approval gating, automated notifications, relational lookups, and controlled status transitions. I can implement: • automatic FAIL logic based on AQL Accept/Reject validation • enforced “DO NOT RELEASE” status during failed inspections • real-time on-screen validation/error alerts • supervisor email notifications tied to failure events • corrected Department lookup behavior to display department names • multi-value Gauge ID# support for storing/displaying multiple IDs • clean validation flow preventing invalid saves or releases My focus will be delivering maintainable, well-documented logic that integrates cleanly into your existing QMS workflow while ensuring inspections, release confirmations, and notifications stay synchronized and audit-safe.

Hello, I have experience working with database-driven business applications and can implement the required QMS enhancements, including AQL validation logic, automated inspection failure handling, release blocking, department lookup corrections, multi-value Gauge ID support, and real-time/email notifications. My approach will focus on ensuring that AQL rules are enforced at both the application and database levels to prevent invalid inspection records from being saved. I will also provide clean, maintainable, and well-documented code for future updates. I think the main challenges are completing the AQL table functionality, enforcing automatic AQL validation for inspection results, preventing lot release when inspections fail, correcting the Department lookup to display department names, supporting multiple Gauge IDs per record, implementing real-time and email notifications, and ensuring users cannot bypass the validation rules. Before starting, I would like to review the current database schema, AQL table structure, technology stack, and existing inspection workflow. Estimated timeline: 5–8 business days, depending on the current system architecture and code quality. I look forward to discussing the details and getting started. Best regards Stelian

Hello, this is exactly the kind of QMS improvement where the real goal is not just validating fields, but enforcing quality rules at the system level so incorrect inspections cannot move forward operationally. I’ve worked on database-driven operational platforms where validation logic, workflow protection, audit visibility, and approval gating were critical, and your requested changes fit very naturally into that type of architecture. for the AQL logic, I would implement deterministic validation directly at the inspection layer so failed thresholds automatically trigger FAIL states and prevent invalid progression instead of relying only on warnings. I also strongly agree with the notification requirement. silent failures in quality systems are risky, so I’d implement both realtime UI alerts and automated supervisor notifications with detailed inspection context. my focus here would be reliability, auditability, workflow integrity, and backward compatibility with existing records, not just quick patching. I’d be interested in reviewing the current QMS stack, how the AQL tables are structured today, and whether workflow status handling is centralized or distributed across modules. best regards,
