Recommendation Engine for Food Recipes

Goodday, For version 2.0 of a mobile application, we are looking to build a recipe recommendation engine. The application provides inspiration to people on special diets by suggesting (allergen-free) recipes. The application subsequently offers convenience by translating the chosen recipes into a consolidated grocery list. In order to prevent the user from having to browse / search too much, we need a recommendation engine that can learn from user feedback. The engine will suggest recipes that are similar to the ones the user has liked before. We have reviewed a few possible algorythms and are now looking for a Machine Learning specialist to help us implement the right one. We are not fixed / 100% decided on a specific solution, so this is a great opportunity for an expert to influence the end solution. What I would like to hear from you is the following: 1. What your specific experience is with Machine Learning and recommendation engines in particular 2. What your hourly rate is 3. What your development stack is (IDE and others) and in which languages you prefer to code 4. What you consider to be of greatest importance in a cooperation 5. From when you will be available and on average for how many hours a week (part-time is OK) 6. Anything else you'd like to share about yourself, hobbies, pet projects, etc. :-) 7.
